2009 Rex Allen Days

celebration, and

honored 4 very

important men:

The Rodeo Tailor

The second year continued in suit; paying tribute to friends and family:

Year 3 paid honor to supporters of 

Rex Allen Days

and also paid tribute to musician,

Beginning in 2012, the awards have been presented at various events all around the country, and 2 are presented each year at the

World Famous 

Sportsmen's Lodge 

as a part of the

Southern California Motion Picture Councils

Gala Balls

In the future, you can expect to see the honor going to actors, authors artists, musicians, magazines, events, individuals and organizations that continue to honor the code of the West!

 History

of the

Awards Show:

 

 The Western Legends Awards 

was created in  2009 by Julie  as a means to both preserve Western Heritage, and to

'Honor Contributions Made in Western Entertainment'

  Two ideals she holds very dear to her heart.

Having produced awards shows for various organizations in the past, it was her desire  to create one of her own; one that would honor both deserving entertainment contributions, and contribute to the enrichment of preserving the memories of the West.

 After curating several museum exhibits  on her family, and seeing how happy sharing those memories made others, she has also dedicated  herself to promoting museum membership. A means to pass the memories of those who made their mark in the West on to the younger generation.

Having contributed so much of her time assisting in the production of Rex Allen Days for several years, and with her families roots embedded deeply in the city of Willcox, Arizona, it only seemed fitting that she premiere her 

Western Legends Awards

in the city as a part of it's

2009
